2. Tony Snell
Role: Wing defender
With Andre Iguodala gone, the Golden State Warriors have been left with a massive chink in their defensive armor.
Last season, the Warriors ranked 26th in Defensive Rating and posted some of their worst defensive metrics in over half a decade. This is mainly due to a significant drop off in talent due to Draymond Green missing chunks of games and Klay Thompson being sidelined all season.
However, the fact remains that this team needs some additional wing defenders. Andrew Wiggins has the potential to fill this void but the addition of Tony Snell would bring some comforting depth.
Snell is a lanky athlete and sound defender. He posted one of the best Defensive Ratings on the Detroit Pistons and ranked third in deflections. He is nowhere near the lockdown presence that was Iguodala but he can hold his own.
Furthermore, Snell can offer a bit of scoring. He shot above 40 percent from the 3-point line for the third season of his career and is a reliable shot creator. He could have a big impact on the bench with Golden State.
