They’re trying to build a perfect roster

You can’t fault the Milwaukee Bucks for not trying to build a roster around Giannis. Back in LeBron’s first stint in Cleveland, it seemed he only left because it was clear he wasn’t going to win with that roster.

For Giannis, he doesn’t have another superstar, but he has players that are capable of being the second-best on a championship-level team. Khris Middleton, a 28-year-old, 6-foot-7 shooting guard averaged a career-high 21.1 points per game this season which is around the same ballpark as Klay Thompson.

They also have a top-15 point guard in Eric Bledsoe. On top of Bledsoe and Middleton, the team retained 7-foot center Brook Lopez, who has drastically improved his shot and shot-blocking this season.

Along with solid bench play, there’s no much to complain about as far as how the roster was compiled goes. While it could be better, management has gifted Giannis with all the tools it’d take to hoist the Larry O’Brien trophy.
