2. Killian Hayes

The best offensive guard in the 2020 NBA Draft, Killian Hayes has a lot to offer the Golden State Warriors.

Generating offense won’t be much of a problem for the Dubs next season with a healthy Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry returning to the floor. But, their second unit is lacking in firepower. This gives them a reason to consider Hayes.

Hayes has a deep bag of tricks and is as shifty as they come. While his ball-handling capabilities aren’t exactly elite, he is surgical with his decision making and optimizes his talents by playing within his comfort zone.

As a teenager playing in the Euro League, Hayes averaged 12.8 points on 45.5 percent shooting. He has a clean looking jump shot and is pure on his step-back 3-pointers. Add a crafty floater in the lane and decent finishing abilities to make him an all-around machine.

Standing at 6’4″ and sporting a 6’9″ wingspan, Hayes has plenty of potential as a defender. His size also allows him to play in union with the Splash Brothers at times, creating an interesting dynamic of three elite scorers in the backcourt.
