The Warriors should have an active free agency period in 2020, and they need to keep an eye on these 20 players participating in the Orlando restart.

The 2019-2020 season has been a tough one for the Golden State Warriors. After five straight Finals appearances, the Warriors will be one of the eight teams not in the Orlando restart.

However, even before the mid-March suspension, there was no hope for the Dubs to find their way into the playoffs. They were the only team to be officially eliminated from playoff contention before the league shut down for over four months.

Since they’ll be on the outside looking in with two superstars and a top pick on their roster, the Warriors should be scouting players that may be a perfect fit for their system.

Both old players on expiring deals and new players finishing up their rookie or mid-career contracts will be available in this upcoming free agency period, one the Warriors should be active in.

They’ll have a $17.2 million trade exception, their mid-level exception that looks to be around $6 million in value and then the bare minimum to sign aging veterans. Everyone, outside of true superstars, will be on the table.

That said, let’s dive into the top-20 free agency targets the Dubs should be keeping an eye on in Orlando.
