Marcus Morris Sr.
Marcus Morris has been absolutely on fire for the majority of the 2019-2020 season. He may have played for both the New York Knicks and LA Clippers all this season but is still killing it nonetheless.
Shooting around 43% from the field, Morris averaged 19.6 points per game when playing with the Knicks earlier this season. With New York, Morris also averaged 2.7 threes per game, shooting an elite 41% from deep on those attempts.
Morris was dealt to the Clippers prior to the novel coronavirus shutting down the league for about four months. During his time in LA, as expected, his numbers dropped. He shot under 40% from the field and 30% from deep.
He was a ghost of his former self as Morris wasn’t the team’s go-to scorer like he was in New York. That said, if he can bounce back and help their second unit thrive in the bubble, Morris may be worthy of commanding the Warriors mid-level exception worth about $6 million.
