Joe Harris

Harris aims to impress when it comes to shooting, that’s his bread and butter.

In the 2018-2019 season, he led the NBA with a 47.4 three-point shooting percentage. The sad thing is he only attempted 5.1 per game. He also shot 50% from the field but didn’t even attempt 10 shots per game.

“Shooters gotta shoot,” right? Harris would join the Golden State Warriors and given them another top-tier shooter. It seems almost unfair to have three of the league’s best shooters on the court at the same time.

That said, with more involvement, Harris’ numbers would increase so his lack of attempts as he’s ascended into his current position isn’t too much of an issue. The 28-year-old still has room to grow even though he’s shot 41.2% from downtown this season.

However, it would be nice to see him put up over 15 points per game before giving him $17 million. But, given that the trade exception can be broken up, the Warriors could give him around $10 million and watch him grow into a crucial part of the franchise.
