Paul Millsap

Most of these players weren’t ranked in the order of their respective fit with the franchise, but these top two are really the players that should be watched. Paul Millsap and Marc Gasol would both strengthen the frontcourt, the weakest part of Golden State’s starting lineup.

For Millsap, he’ll be finishing up his three-year, $90 million contract with Denver. He won’t be seeing numbers like that again as Millsap scored just 12 points per game this season. It isn’t necessarily the scoring that makes him the best possible addition.

Millsap is averaging a career-high 1.1 threes per game. It’s not a ton, no.

But, he’s shooting 44% on those attempts, and that’s incredible. Among players that have appeared in over 25 games and shoot at least two three-point attempts per game, Millsap ranks eighth for three-point percentage.

That and his above-average rebounding make him the best possible addition for this roster.

However, we wouldn’t mind seeing any of these 20 players added this offseason.
