Marco Belinelli

To start the Warriors’ dynasty, their second unit was, in part, led by shooting guard Leandro Barbosa. Barbosa played well and was a crucial force for Golden State during the team’s 2015 NBA Finals run.

The Warriors haven’t had too much consistent guard play on their second unit since Barbosa left. While they have had Shaun Livingston, he has since retired as well. That veteran combo left a hole, one that Belinelli can help fill.

While he could be a liability defensively, Belinelli averaged 10.5 points per game with 1.9 threes last season.

This year, his minutes and numbers are down, playing just over a quarter per game. Still shooting around 37%, Belinelli could be a great addition to a second unit that needs a veteran presence among the young guards like Jordan Poole and Ky Bowman.

Not the most prestigious add, Belinelli would get the team marginally closer to a Finals berth in 2021.
