Going into the offseason, there are plenty of players that the Warriors could target to make their team better — especially those on expiring rookie contracts.

The NBA has been through a roller coaster in the past couple of months. From not finishing the season to going to the bubble to try, COVID-19 has by far caused the oddest ending to an NBA season to date. For the Warriors, their season ended in March.

However, even though the Golden State Warriors are not in the bubble and playing for ANOTHER championship, there is still light at the end of the tunnel. The Warriors have the offseason to look forward to.

Without Steph Curry and Klay Thompson, their two main stars, for the majority of last season, it ended up being a disappointment. There are, though, players that will be entering free agency off of rookie contracts that could help the Warriors reach that goal again next season.

These players are some of the most coveted in the NBA, that is why the Warriors need to start making the push for them now. With a big market and a lot to offer, the Warriors should be a top team on any of these players’ “teams to play for”.

We have narrowed it down to three specific players that the Warriors should target that are young and could offer upside for the team for years to come.
