The Golden State Warriors will be at home watching the teams participate in the Orlando restart. Here are three Clippers they should keep an eye on.

In a weird change of events, the Golden State Warriors were the NBA worst team. The 2019-2020 season was tough for the Warriors mainly because their superstar duo, Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson, combined for five games.

Curry went out with a fractured left hand in the fourth game of the season while Thompson, who tore his ACL in Game 6 of the 2019 NBA Finals, never saw the hardwood. He was planning to return in late spring assuming the team was in title contention.

Winning just 15 games all season, they were far from that. Led by D’Angelo Russell for most of the season, the team suffered through numerous losing streaks that helped define their discouraging year.

However, there were a few silver linings to the forgettable season.

With the ability to improve their roster with a $17.2 million trade exception and the mid-level exception, the Warriors may have a relatively active free agency period. Also with a first-round pick that they’ll consider trading, the Warriors have every opportunity to improve their roster.

With the bubble just days from seeing play restart for real, let’s dive into three Clippers that have both helped the team succeed and will be free agents this upcoming offseason. That said, let’s into who the Warriors should scout from the West’s second-best team.
