Montrezl Harrell

The last one on our shortlist of Clippers that’ll hit the upcoming market is Montrezl Harrell. Harrell is in his fifth season, originally coming out Louisville. No one thought we’d be talking about getting Harrell a max contract half a decade ago, but here we are.

To be fair, we’ll be hoping that Harell, who is averaging 18.6 points per game and will be the favorite for Sixth Man of the Year and potentially a finalist for Most Improved Player as well, takes the Andre Iguodala-created trade exception that is for $17.2 million.

Shooting 58% from the field and hauling down 7.1 rebounds per game, Harrell’s role with the Clippers has been about being the most determined man on the court. He’s just going to outwork you. It’s that simple.

Much like Draymond Green, Harrell, from a fit standpoint, may not be the best addition cause he can’t shoot from deep, but there’s not a single team in the NBA that wouldn’t welcome him for $15 million.

The Warriors would be instant title favorite with the addition of Harrell.

All three, at different salaries, would be welcome in the Bay Area.
