Kyle Korver

Can the Golden State Warriors have three of the best shooters of all time on the court together? Well, they had that with Kevin Durant, and they could do it again if they sign Kyle Korver.

On the surface level, Korver doesn’t seem like a great addition.

Playing for Milwaukee, Korver’s been able to age like fine wine given his ability to shoot. The 6-foot-7, 39-year-old may retire at the season’s end, but he certainly still has a bit left in the tank, averaging 6.7 points per game.

Shooting 41.5% from downtown, Korver would be a welcome addition in the Bay Area. With Draymond Green and Klay Thompson, the Warriors could mask Korver’s defensive liability rather easily.

Korver would undoubtedly be more of a specialty addition, as he was for Milwaukee. Playing 16.7 minutes per game, that’d be about what fans could expect if he came to Golden State.

The Warriors clearly value shooting, and Korver is one of the best to ever do it. If he can still thrive against the NBA’s best in Orlando, he should be an ideal target this summer.
