Andre Roberson

Coming back from an injury that’s kept him out all season, Andre Roberson has already made his debut in the league’s scrimmage play that has already wrapped up. The goal was to get players back into the feel of the high level of play.

As for the former first-round pick, he’s going to come back to a far different Thunder team. Still his typical defensive-minded self, Roberson will have the same mission — guard the best player on the court.

That’s exactly what he could bring to Golden state if they look to bring him in. Roberson is arguably a better defender than Robert Covington, but his style of play mimics that of the elite three-point shooter.

Sadly, Roberson is far from the shooter than Covington is, hurting his value. He struggles to even hit 40% from the free-throw line, shooting 31.6% two years ago.

If he’s going to get a contract of value, he’s going to need to play at a high level which means shooting at a high level. If he can prove he’s worked on that, he’ll be getting big money, hopefully from Golden State, a team that could certainly use his length.
