Rookie Additions

Because of the horrible season that the Warriors had last year, they are going to add the No. 1 overall pick in the upcoming draft; well, let’s hope so as that’s the projections. There are many ways that they could go, but they are at least going to add one of these talents players.

Anthony Edwards from the University of Georgia averaged 19.1 points, 5.2 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 1.3 steals per game during his freshman season. He also shot 50% from the field and 30% from beyond the arc. He would be an excellent guard addition.

Another player that they could add would be Obi Toppin from the University of Dayton. The sophomore averaged 20.0 points, 7.5 boards, 2.2 assists, 1.0 steals, and 1.3 blocks per game last season. He also led Dayton to one of their best finishes ever before the tournament was canceled.

They also have been rumored to be interested in James Wiseman. The freshman from Memphis only played three games before being suspended for the rest of the year. He averaged 19.7 points and 10.7 rebounds per game in the small timeframe.

They also have been interested in Lamelo Ball who opted out of going to college and instead played across seasons. He is the youngest Ball brother — if the Warriors decide that they want that headache of Lavar Ball.

Anyone of these players would add a significant increase in stats to the Warriors team. Or, they could trade it and bring in a star.
