Maurice Harkless

Maurice “Mo” Harkless is not your average targeted free agent. In fact, he was the best and the only option from the New York Knicks for this season. The only other free agents have either had club options picked up or are restricted free-agents.

Therefore, we are going to go with Harkless. The Warriors could definitely use the career backup, big man. Throughout his long career stat sheet, Harkless has only averaged over 10.0 points per game in one season.

The nine-year veteran has never been to an all-star game. Harkless also costs roughly $10 million per year. He would have to take a massive pay cut to be worth the Dubs even considering adding a backup of his caliber.

The truth is, Harkless would most likely help the Warriors with their depth predicament and that is about it. If the price isn’t too high on restricted free agent Isaiah Hicks, I think the Warriors should consider forking over something for the former North Carolina Tar Heel.
