1 Warriors free agent target on every Atlantic Division team
Fred VanVleet
The Toronto Raptors won the NBA championship last year and had a huge success. Fred VanVleet, a guard on that team, was a big reason for their success. With his contract up in Canada, the Dubs should definitely consider this young star.
VanVleet has only played in the NBA for three years but has already left his mark. The guard is averaging 17.5 points, 6.7 assists, 3.8 rebounds, and 1.9 steals per game starting on the Raptors rotation. Those are also all career highs.
His prime is just getting started and the Warriors would be wise to jump on this hype train. The only downside is they would have to pay quite a bit of money for a backup point guard, but he could end up earning the sixth man of the year with the team.
The Warriors have a long list of players that they could add in the free-agent market this year. That is why we are trying to keep you as informed as possible on all the potential candidates there are out there for the team. These are from the Atlantic division.
