James Wiseman

We were able to witness James Wiseman for three games at the collegiate level. It was sad knowing the NCAA could’ve done better to keep him playing, but Wiseman was done after battling eligibility.

In those three games, one of which was against Oregon, Wiseman dominated. He averaged 19.7 points, 10.7 rebounds and 3.0 blocks per game.

On 77% from the field, the 7-foot-1 center was easily projected to be the top-overall selection entering the year. His stock slipped due to his offensive upside that we were never really able to see.

With the Warriors needing frontcourt stability and Wiseman already proving that he can protect the time at a high level, adding the Nashville-native could be a wise move (see what I did there).

So far, the jury is still out on Wiseman as mixed reports have come out on the Dubs interest, but at the end of the day, there’s no complaining if they forego trading the pick and take this absolute beast at No. 1.
