4. Game tying shot over Anthony Davis

The 2015 NBA Playoffs were the start of it all for Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors. Their first round series versus the New Orleans Pelicans was their first victory en route to a championship.

The Shot:

Down 3-points with under 10 seconds to play, Curry missed his first attempt at tying the game. After a rebound and quick pass from Marreese Speights, Curry reloaded and fired from the corner to force overtime.

Difficulty:

This was a truly difficult shot. In fact, it likely should have been a 4-point play. Anthony Davis went tumbling into Curry as he was releasing the ball. But, that didn’t stop Curry from calmly sending the game into an extra period.

Backstory:

The Warriors path to the 2015 title didn’t start off easily. Though they led the Pelicans 2-0 in the series, NOLA was seriously threatening to pull away with Game 3, holding a 5-point lead with under 20 seconds to play. Curry scored 6 points during this time and finished with 40 points.
