3. Full court bomb versus Memphis

Stephen Curry’s first MVP run in 2015 was incredible and it kicked off a great five-year run from the Warriors. Let’s focus on one of the most breathtaking shots he hit during this season.

The Shot:

There’s not much to dissect here. Curry recovers a loose ball on the defensive end and hauls it from the opposite 3-point line to demoralize the Memphis Grizzlies at the buzzer.

Difficulty:

I mean, come on. It’s a near full-court shot. It doesn’t get much harder than that.

Backstory:

Once Curry did this, it became pretty common for him to connect from beyond halfcourt. Curry is one of the few players in the NBA who can shoot a full-court shot and have me be surprised if the shot DOESN’T go in.

(Bonus Shot)

As a bonus shot, I want to include the time when Curry was spinning around, falling to the ground and tossed up a one-handed floater from the 3-point line. Unsurprisingly, the ball kissed the glass and went in the hoop, just as planned.
