The Top 30 Golden State Warriors players in franchise history (Updated 2023)
13. Baron Davis
Originally a top-five pick in the 1999 NBA Draft, Davis came into the league and played three seasons with the Hornets, amassing two All-Star appearances during those five and a half seasons.
He then joined Golden State for three and a half seasons. These were arguably the best of his career. Davis was a prolific scorer and an elite playmaker, bringing a swagger with him to the Bay Area.
He averaged 20.2 points, 8.1 assists, and 2.1 steals to go along with 1.8 threes per game.
Davis was everything a team could want in a point guard, but he just couldn’t manage to help the team succeed at a high level. The Warriors were significantly better with Davis on the court during his short stint.
His one playoff run in Golden State ended with the team losing in five games to the Carlos Boozer-led Jazz.
