It’s time to determine which offseason targets are worth pursuing in the Golden State Warriors hunt for another championship.

We are quickly approaching the offseason as the Orlando Bubble moves forward with the current NBA season. Every day, the Golden State Warriors should be surveying the field and keeping tabs on potential offseason targets.

The Dubs don’t have much financial freedom but they have enough to make things interesting. A trade exception worth $17 million dollars and their $6 million dollar mid-level exception offers all the room they need to target a few different game-changing talents.

In terms of trading – the Warriors have plenty of moveable assets. They can trade their upcoming lottery pick or the 2021 first round selection they acquired from Minnesota. In addition – they can offer up some expendable players like Eric Paschall, Jordan Poole or Kevon Looney.

The mid-level exception will almost certainly be reserved for a veteran player. The Dubs are young and while that isn’t necessarily a bad thing – it could hinder them in the playoffs. If another title is their goal – they should be looking to add some experience to this roster.

We have a good idea of who the Warriors will be targetting this offseason. Let’s see which players are worth considering and who the franchise should avoid.
