7. Kent Bazemore – Sell

Kent Bazemore has found himself in mentions for a few different teams this offseason. But, the Golden State Warriors should stay far away from the 30-year-old guard.

The Portland Trail Blazers traded Bazemore midway through the season after a disappointing 43 games. Bazemore averaged just 7.9 points in Rodney Hood’s absence, failing to help the Blazers in their pursuit of a playoff berth.

Now, Bazemore is in Sacramento – where his averages have increased a bit but his performances remain underwhelming. He is a decent shooter and rebounder but his overall impact has yet to be seen.

In terms of pure production – Bazemore isn’t too bad. However, his $19 million dollar contract is far above his paygrade. It’s possible the Warriors can sign him for their MLE if other teams shy away from Bazemore but there isn’t much of a reason to pursue him too heavily this offseason.
