4. Jabari Parker – Sell
Taken in the same draft as Andrew Wiggins, Jabar Parker is a player that some people fear has been given up on too early. However, don’t buy into the hype – the Golden State Warriors should steer clear of Parker this offseason.
Entering the league, Parker was marketed as the next Carmelo Anthony. In a world where Melo was recently outcasted by most of the association (for maybe the wrong reasons), this should speak volumes on Parker’s potential.
Parker doesn’t do much to help any modern NBA team. He is a decent mid-range scorer -but a below-average 3-point shooter. His athleticism has declined rapidly following multiple injuries and his defensive capabilities are… not up to par.
Sure, at 24-years of age, Parker has time to turn things around. He has consistently scored close to 15 points per game on 50 percent shooting for his career. The Dubs can offer salvation for his floundering career – but they would be better off avoiding him altogether.
