Jeff Teague

Jeff Teague is a ten-year veteran in the NBA. He started his career in 2010 with the Atlanta Hawks and his most recent season of play also comes with the Atlanta Hawks — there were two teams in between those years as well.

Being back on the team he started it all with must be a nice feeling. I don’t have high hopes the Teague will be interested in leaving Atlanta, but he is the best prospect that the Hawks have in free agency this season.

The Warriors have been in need of a backup point guard since the retirement of Shaun Livingston — that is why most of these targets seem to be guards. Jeff Teague would not only fit that mold, but he would do more.

Teague would also, along with his talents, bring a presence of leadership into the locker room that could be valued as priceless. If he could lead and train these young guys with Curry, the Warriors’ future could be a bright one.

However, he is the most expensive on this list of free agents — by far!
