Bismack Biyombo

The other position that the Warriors have been longing for is a center. Currently, the Warriors starting center is Marquese Chriss. Now, Chriss is coming off of his best season with the Warriors because of how bad they were last year, they needed someone to contribute.

However, Biyombo would either be a nice replacement in the starting lineup for Chriss or be a nice backup to Chriss because Biyombo is a presence on the inside of the paint that puts fear into other NBA players.

For his entire career, Biyombo is averaging just over 1.0 blocks per game. At his highest, he was almost at 2.0 blocks per game in a single season. Chriss doesn’t even average 1.0 blocks per game in his career. It is just a different inside presence.

Chriss is by far the better scorer, but the way Biyombo controls the middle with his shot-blocking ability and his rebounding ability should not go unnoticed. It is also something that the Warriors could use next season to help open Curry and Thompson on the outside.
