Draymond Green wants Devin Booker out of Phoenix. While the Warriors don’t make much sense, Green says staying in Phoenix is killing his career.

Going on TNT with Charles Barkley and company, Draymond Green, who didn’t care if it were tampering or not, said that Devin Booker needs to get out of Phoenix. There could be some truth to that.

Booker, one of the league’s elite scorers, has been absolutely unstoppable in the bubble, solidifying a win over the Clippers with a buzzer-beating jumper in the eye of Paul George. Where will these heroics ultimately get him?

It seems unlike that it’s the playoffs, and it sure feels impossible for him to go far in the playoffs if the Suns even made it. Now the only undefeated team largely due to Booker, Green thinks it’s time to get him out of Phoenix and into a winning culture.

The Phoenix Suns haven’t seen high-level team success since two-time MVP Steve Nash and six-time All-Star Amar’e Stoudemire were playing on the team. That said, here’s exactly how Green phrased his strong-worded message to the young guard.

Devin Booker somehow, someway didn’t make the All-Star game this season before being selected due to Damian Lillard‘s injury. Many hate him because his lacking defense, but it must be hard to be a star on both ends of the court when he’s carrying the entire team offensively.

This season, Booker is averaging 26.2 points per game, his second-straight season notching over 26 per game. He’s also averaging over four rebounds and six assists. The 23-year-old is already in year five of his career and has already put up four straight 20-plus point seasons.

He signed a massive contract and will still be under that deal until after the 2023-2024 season. That said, while he may want out, the Suns quite frankly have no obligation to trade him since he signed a five-year contract worth over $150 million.
