Golden State Warriors’ Draymond Green wanted Devin Booker off the Suns. That said, let’s dive into how Phoenix could trade him into a winning culture.

The Phoenix Suns are 5-0 since entering the bubble. Still not that close to playoff contention, the Suns are a longshot to do anything this postseason. That’s how it’s been for a while, one reason Draymond Green wants Devin Booker out of Phoenix.

Green sat down with Charles Barkley and others on TNT, not to plead his case for the Warriors to trade for Booker, but just to tell Booker it’s time for a new environment, one that may show him the winning ways of the NBA.

Since he’s under contract for the next several seasons, it feels unlikely that he’s traded.

Booker, who is just coming off a 35-point victory over the Miami Heat, is a superstar in the making, but he needs help. He needs more than Dario Saric and Kelly Oubre Jr., although those two are turning into a couple of true stars.

Like with any team that may look to deal a disgruntled superstar (if Booker actually says he’s tired of playing Phoenix), the Suns would command a haul of talented stars and superstars in order to even start the conversation.

That said, let’s breakout three deals that may at least push the needle. Again, Green just wants Booker off the Suns, not necessarily with the Warriors. The Warriors couldn’t afford him without giving up a drastic amount of assets anyway.
