Book to Philly

Phoenix receives — Ben Simmons

Philadelphia receives — Devin Booker

This would be an absolutely wild trade.

Over the last few seasons, the Sixers have came up short.

Time and time again it appears they’ve gotten over the hump, but they fall back down the hill. The clear issue is that Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid are just not that good when on the court together. Simmons and Embiid are both superstars individually.

Every single duo combination that has more minutes than Simmons/Embiid, which is ten, has a better net rating. That’s why Simmons to Phoenix, a place with elite shooting bigs and scoring forwards could be a good place.

They also have up-and-coming shooters. The Suns have everything to allow Simmons to thrive as the main playmaker. As for the Sixers, they need that go-to scorer. Embiid is there, but he needs that other threat.

The Embiid/Booker duo could create one of the most formidable guard/center tag-teams in the NBA. This seems like a win-win.
