3 least tradable contracts on the Golden State Warriors roster
Draymond Green
The second contract that the Warriors should not readily give up is Draymond Green. Yes, Green costs the fourth most on the Warriors roster behind Curry, Thompson, and Andrew Wiggins, but his contract is definitely under his value.
Comparatively to Wiggins, Green is making roughly $10 million less and producing more. The same reason the Dubs should not offer up Paschall’s contract is the same reason that they need to keep Draymond Green on their roster.
Golden State drafted Draymond in 2012, and he has been with the team since then. Green could possibly be a max contract player, but he continues to take less than what he deserves for the Warriors to bring in someone like Wiggins who is worth $27 million.
Green is one of those “everything” players. Over the course of his career with the Warriors, Green has averaged 9.0 points, 6.9 rebounds, 5.0 assists, 1.4 steals, and 1.1 blocks with only 2.1 turnovers per game in that almost decade-long span.
