Devin Booker

The Devin Booker-led Phoenix Suns have been the talk of the town during the last few weeks. 6-0 as of Tuesday, the Suns are the only team left undefeated in bubble play, having defeated the Dallas Mavericks, OKC Thunder and LA Clippers.

Booker is the star that’s taken this team to the next level. The team has been on his back, and he’s delivered on almost every possession. Continually disrespected, Booker was only an All-Star this season due to Damian Lillard‘s injury.

Averaging 26.5 points, 4.1 rebounds and 6.5 assists per game, Booker has exceeded even those averages in the bubble. Notching over 30 points per game, Booker has had three performances of 35 points and two with eight or more assists as well.

Booker is under contract until after the 2023-2024 season. Given his contract size, it’d be a blockbuster deal if he’s dealt, a trade that’d appease Draymond Green, the Warriors forward that said he wanted to see Book get out of Phoenix.

Still a long shot to make the playoff, the Suns have been one of the most enjoyable teams to watch in Orlando, and they have Devin Booker to thank for that.
