5. Buddy Hield
A potential third splash brother? Buddy Hield became a lottery pick in the 2016 NBA Draft by lighting it up from beyond the arch in Oklahoma. Though his professional career has been a bit shakey – he is a consistent threat from deep.
Coming off a career-high year, Hield is averaging close to 20 points, 4.6 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game. He is connecting on 38.8 percent of almost 10 3-point attempts per game, putting him in elite company. Earlier in the season, Hield drilled 11 3-pointers in a game versus the Boston Celtics.
The Golden State Warriors would have to find a way to make Hield fit alongside Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson but there is no doubt they would be an unguardable trio due to their ability to stretch the floor.
Hield is set to make $24 million dollars next season – making him a bit more difficult to acquire than other players on this list. While he might be a quality shooter, his price tag could be to steep to warrant a trade.
