2. Danilo Gallinari

The discussion for the most underrated player in the league stops at Danilo Gallinari. No other player in the NBA has been as consistently good as Gallinari without receiving proper recognition.

ESPN gave the Oklahoma City Thunder a less than 1 percent chance of reaching the postseason this year. But, through quality team play, the Thunder sit with the fifth-best record in the Western Conference. While Chris Paul earns most of the credit – Gallinari is equally as important to the Thunder’s playoff run.

Don’t forget, Gallinari was a key member of the LA Clippers reaching the playoffs last year despite being expected to plummet into the lottery. Gallinari is a game-changer with his ability to score from all three levels and he would be a fantastic piece to add to the Warriors.

Let’s face it – Andrew Wiggins will need to drastically improve to ever reach the level of consistency that Danilo has garnered. If the Warriors truly want to win a title within the next few seasons, Gallinari is a much better option to play at the forward position.
