The Phoenix Suns made a touching gesture for their starters, and Warriors’ guard Stephen Curry took note, praising the organization.

While it’s only been a few weeks since the league resumed play, the players in the bubble haven’t been able to be with their families since even before then. For Stephen Curry and the Warriors, they weren’t invited to the bubble but at least the former is still keeping up on what’s happening.

That said, the franchises that are in Orlando understand that many of these players have been without their loved ones. After spending months with their families in quarantine with the league suspended, they were taken away, some for potentially months.

Because of that, the Phoenix Suns media department pulled off a genius move. They gave the families a chance to announce the starting lineup, and Curry took note of such a touching gesture, calling it “amazing” on Twitter.

With children of his own, this probably rang close to home for Curry who would’ve wanted the Warriors organization to do the same if the team was in Orlando. Thankfully, winning just 15 games, they haven’t had to go through that.

As for the Suns, led by 23-year-old superstar Devin Booker who is averaging over 30 points per game, they are the bubble’s only undefeated team.

They’ve taken down the Clippers, Mavericks and Thunder en route to a 7-0 record with one game remaining and are still unlikely to make the playoffs with the Grizzlies and Trail Blazers still ahead with just a few days remaining before the seeding is finalized.

The Warriors, who have technically still been to five straight Finals, will get a much-needed break. As many of their key players have had extended seasons the last half a decade, it’ll likely a nice relief to be at home instead of competing for over 82 games yet again.

With Curry at the helm, the Warriors will bounce back next season, hopefully, a year that won’t require a bubble in order to play.
