4. Otto Porter Jr.

In terms of production on both ends of the floor – Otto Porter Jr. and Andrew Wiggins aren’t too far apart from each other. Wiggins is a far better scorer but Porter has the advantage on defense and as a shooter. These two qualities are arguably more important to the Warriors right now as they already have plenty of capable scorers on the roster.

Porter can fill in as a spot-up shooter for the Warriors – connecting on 42.5 percent of his catch-and-shoot attempts this season. This is much better than Wiggins – who shot just 35.2 percent from deep on this type of play.

Porter is also a more engaged defender. Standing a bit taller than Wiggins at 6’8″ and sporting a longer wingspan – Porter has always looked more active on this end of the floor and has worked diligently to become a reliable deterrent on the perimeter.

I don’t think there is much debate as to who is the better player – Wiggins has the advantage over Porter. But, Porter might fit better with the Dubs as a two-way threat. This is a deal the Dubs should consider throughout the offseason.
