Thaddeus Young

Coming into the league in 2007, Young was with the Philadelphia 76ers for the bulk of his career. Since leaving Philadelphia, Young has been with the Pacers, Nets, Bulls and Timberwolves over the last six seasons.

Young has perennially been one of the league’s better stealing big man, averaging over a steals per game in each of his 13 seasons in the NBA. He’s also been a consistent scoring threat, averaging over ten points per game in every season after his first in the league.

The 6-foot-8 lefty has nicely improved his three-point shooting. For the Warriors, that will be a big draw for any player they look to bring in that would attempt to round out an elite small-ball lineup. Young shot 36% from deep with the Bulls, averaging 1.2 threes per game.

Young is set to make $13.5 million next season with the last year on his contract only guaranteed for $6 million. He’s not a flashy, news-breaking target, but he is a player that may fit well and add some leadership to the Dubs frontcourt.
