8 low-cost, high-impact offseason trade targets for the Golden State Warriors
Kyle Anderson
While not an elite scorer or top-tier defender, Kyle Anderson does everything a coach wants.
He defender well and he’s an efficient scorer with a nice touch around the rim. Anderson plays at his own pace which allows him to maneuver well around defenders and get the rim oftentimes with ease.

Anderson didn’t go off, but in Memphis’ in-or-go-home game against Portland, he scored ten points and was 4-for-6 from the field. The former UCLA Bruin, who was a first-round pick in the 2014 NBA Draft, shots 49% from the field for his career.
While he hasn’t developed a consistent outside shot, Anderson did make 38% of his attempts one season with the Spurs, making just 0.2 per game over 72 games. It’d be nice to see him work on that, but his all-around playmaking, averaging 7.7 rebounds and 4.4 assists per 36 minutes, is a nice complement to his value.
Set to make $9.5 million next season and $9.9 million the following season, Anderson’s contract isn’t team-friendly but it’s certainly far from Andrew Wiggins’ massive deal.
That said, he’d be a great bench piece and allow the team to potentially add another trade target with their trade exception.
