Trade back in the trade, bring in a low-level star

The Golden State Warriors, as stated many times, will have a plethora of options. At the highest level, they’ll have the option to trade it completely, but they’ll also have the option to bring in a pick and a player.

The Spurs have the No. 11 pick. They also have Rudy Gay. While this isn’t the only potential trade the Warriors should look into, it is the perfect one to use as an example.

The Warriors could potentially bring in Tyrese Haliburton or Tyrese Maxey. They could bring in that backup point guard that they reportedly crave while also being able to bring in a solid small-ball fit.

Whether it be Gay or Rubio or another asset that could move the needle in where the team ranks in the Western Conference, this type of option brings the best of both worlds, especially if the Warriors aren’t overly thrilled about anyone in the top five.

This is my personal favorite option for the Warriors, a team that has numerous different avenues towards improving this offseason.
