Use the pick

The easiest option for the Golden State Warriors will be to simply do nothing.

They could easily use the pick to enhance their roster. While said player won’t be proven at the sport’s highest level, they’d easily have a higher potential than any player they have the option of bringing in.

The team has shown interest in Anthony Edwards, who they claim could be a franchise player. James Wiseman, Tyrese Haliburton, and others have also piqued their interest.

But, how highly they truly view those players and to what value they tie to them is still unknown, especially in a time where there are so many smokescreens that are put out just to stir up the rumors.

Much of the Warriors options will be on their opponent and how they value the addition of a player like Edwards or LaMelo Ball. That’ll be the deciding factor, because, if they can get a 2021 first-round pick, they’ll likely look to move on from this low-upside draft.
