6. Oklahoma City Thunder

Now we get to the trades that will really make a difference for the Golden State Warriors.

Having a quality sixth man is incredibly important for title-contending teams. Right now, the Warriors don’t have a reliable guard to come off the bench for Stephen Curry. This is where Dennis Schroder would shine as a candidate for Sixth Man of the Year.

Schroder is playing the best basketball of his career with OKC, averaging 18.9 points and 4.0 assists per game with the second unit. He is an easy fit with the Dubs and a surprisingly good defender for his height.

The Thunder won’t be eager to deal away Schroder but should be enticed by the No. 2 pick. After all, the franchise was expected to be a lottery team before defying the odds and reaching the playoffs. A bit of help by bumping high up the draft order and selecting a young prospect would go a long way for the Thunder. Furthermore, the Warriors get another late first round pick to add extra talent.
