If the Golden State Warriors dealt their No. 2 overall pick, which players off their current team would benefit the most from it?

The Golden State Warriors officially have the No. 2 pick in the 2020 NBA Draft.

While they had a 14% at the top overall pick and missed on that, any team in the top part of the lottery would’ve been happy with No. 2, especially the Cleveland Cavaliers who dropped all the way down to No. 5.

The Warriors will consider trading the pick, but what their return would be is still relatively unknown. With a $17.2 million trade exception, the Warriors have all they need to bring in top-tier talent, especially if they can bundle Andrew Wiggins in any potential deal.

The Dubs have noted that they’ll prioritize adding backup point guard. If a player like Joel Embiid is on the market, there’s no denying looking into what he may cost the team would also be a smart move.

Without too much high-profile potential at the top of the draft, the Warriors should want to trade back, and a few of their players may benefit from the team dealing the pick instead of keeping it.

That said, let’s dive into who those few Warriors that would benefit from dealing the pick would be.
