Boston Celtics

The Boston Celtics may be in the NBA Finals in just a few weeks and then one of the few teams with two first-round pick in several months.

With a loaded young roster already, the Celtics have a player that the Warriors should heavily target. Marcus Smart, who is in the midst of a career year, would be the perfect player to bring in under the team’s Andre Iguodala-created trade exception.

The Warriors have their options with the Boston Celtics. They may be able to deal both first-round picks for No. 2, but the Warriors likely wouldn’t want that.

Smart feels like the only real option that both teams may agree on, that is if the Celtics value the Warriors pick. Always with a forward-thinking front office, the Celtics may want to secure Anthony Edwards or LaMelo Ball.

They have a franchise that can develop a player that has sky-high potential, and given their draft picks in this draft and future drafts along with their large contracts on the horizon, they may want to bring in a few talented, cheap prospects.
