Myles Turner

Over the last few months, Myles Turner got a reputation for not being a star in the league. His impact on the game was hurt without Victor Oladipo for the bulk of the season.

While he’s the only non-superstar on the list, Turner has upside and has shown improvements. A shot-blocking center, the Warriors could use a player like Turner patrolling the paint. Turner can also step out to the three-point line and knock down shots at a reasonable rate.

This season, Turner averaged 12.1 points, 6.6 rebounds and 2.1 blocks per game. His 2018-2019 season showed his potential in numbers much more, notching over 13 points, 7 rebounds, and a league-leading 2.7 blocks per game.

24, Turner is set to make $18 million for the next three seasons. With Indiana still in win-now mode, a three-team trade in which the Pacers return a Kelly Oubre Jr.-like player that Golden State gets using their bridge option and No. 2 overall pick seems like a smart play for all parties.

Turner has potential, but if he’s not, in Golden State’s mind, a significant upgrade from Marquese Chriss, don’t expect any movement here.
