Though it’s been over a year since the Golden State Warriors were in the NBA Finals, the rest of the league still fears their eventual return.

The Golden State Warriors might not be in the Orlando Bubble but their presence continues to loom over the rest of the NBA. The league has embraced parity without the Warriors rampaging through everybody. But, soon, the Dubs will be back in action, seeking out revenge on every team that discredited them.

Courtesy of Yahoo Sports, Bob Fitzgerald gave us insight on life inside the NBA bubble and how frequently the Warriors are brought up in conversations among the players.

“You know what else is being discussed? How good the Golden State Warriors will be next year.” Fitzgerald said. “How [the Warriors] will be on a revenge path. How they will be back in the playoffs. How they will be back to the elite in the NBA. (There’s) all kinds of Warriors discussion, vis-a-vis the draft, potential trades, free agents.”

The Warriors plummeted off the face of the earth last season due to injuries and key losses in free agency. However, with a top-three NBA Draft pick and just enough wiggle room in free agency to make a move – the rest of the league is shaking in anticipation for the Dubs’ return.

Stephen Curry is still in his prime and is ready to deliver a legacy-changing season. The two-time MVP will be fully unleashed once again with Kevin Durant gone. Alongside him will be a rejuvenated Klay Thompson and eager Draymond Green. If the newcomer, Andrew Wiggins, is able to carve out a role with the team, the Warriors will be a tough team to beat.

Next season is far away but the Warriors are steadily preparing for their revenge tour. Soon, we will see how the Dubs respond to their greatest adversity yet.
