Devin Booker

We’ve written on both sides of the Devin Booker trade rumors.

After he absolutely dominated the bubble and willed his Phoenix Suns to an 8-0 record, the only perfect team in the bubble, Booker was put on the national spotlight as a leader and late-game scorer.

For Golden State, he’d be the perfect addition, but like with Beal, why would they bring him in or even consider bringing him in if they didn’t want to truly test out the D’Angelo Russell fit with the splash brothers.

Booker earned his first All-Star appearance in 2020.

His numbers across the board were highly impressive, averaging 26.6 points, 6.5 assists, and 4.2 rebounds per game. The most impressive part of Booker’s improvement this season was his efficiency, shooting almost 49% from the field.

He’s that good that, if dealt, he’d command two first-round picks and a low-grade star. Under contract for the next four seasons, Booker isn’t going anywhere as Phoenix looks to start competing in the West.
