Wiggins value

Although it is almost guaranteed Wiggins will spend his career in Northern California as a No. 3 option he will be better for it.

Rather than being guarded by the opposition’s best defender the Canadian wing will be able to pick apart the opposition’s third best defender as Steph Curry and Klay Thompson command double teams.

As said by many “you are only as good as your third guy” if Wiggins can compliment Curry and Thompson on a potential championship run the Warriors will be hard to beat.

The former no.1 pick averaged 19.4 points, 4.6 rebounds and 3.6 assists across 12 games with the Warriors last season, Wiggins also shot nearly 46% overall and 34% from deep. NBA analyst Kenny Smith believes a full season with the Dubs will translate into an All-Star appearance for the small forward.

“He does everything that Harrison Barnes was doing (when he played for the Warriors), and he’s more athletic,” Smith said on 95.7 The Game’s “Bonta, Steiny & Guru” show.
