4. Bradley Beal – Fact

Guards are beginning to dominant the NBA. We saw how the three-headed backcourt monster in OKC gave the Houston Rockets trouble in the first round due to Chris Paul’s tenacity and veteran experience. Could the Golden State Warriors look to replicate this with Bradley Beal running alongside the Splash Brothers?

Beal is a top-tier offensive player. He posted personal-best numbers of 30.5 points per game and was on pace to drill over 200 3-pointers for the third time of his career. His wide array of talents made him a three-level scorer that could create his shot from anywhere on the floor.

The Warriors could find success by overwhelming opponents with a fully loaded backcourt. The three guards will be able to play off each other and share the scoring load. Hopefully, their production on offense would compensate for their potential defensive inefficiencies.

Hauling in Beal would take a contract like Andrew Wiggins or Draymond Green to match salary – Wiggins being the more likely trade candidate. Throw in a few first round picks and this is a package worthy of acquiring the two-time All-Star. Some think this isn’t worth the risk – but it is most definitely a possibility for Golden State this season.
