The ratings for NBA 2K21 have been revealed and Golden State Warriors star, Draymond Green, has seen his overall plummet.

Last season was poor for just about every member of the Golden State Warriors. Disaster after disaster struck as the dynasty collapsed. Similarly, Draymond Green’s overall in NBA 2K has fallen drastically.

For the first time since 2015, Green is lower than an 80 overall. The game developers gave him a 79 this year – the same rating as Eric Paschall. This makes Green the 97th best player in the game, an absolute disgrace to everything he has accomplished on the floor.

Sure, Green was far from his normal self last season. Injuries plagued his campaign while most of his time on the floor was accompanied by G-League players and unproven rookies. However, there is no reason for him to be rated so low in the upcoming game.

Stephen Curry sits with a 95 overall while Klay Thompson is just below a 90 overall. Andrew Wiggins was rated an 82 and is the only other Warriors above an 80. Still, the Dubs are listed as a ‘tier 1’ team by 2K.

We shouldn’t be too surprised by 2K’s ratings, however, The game developers have consistently shown us throughout the years that they don’t care about properly rating each player or taking the time to accurately judge their capabilities. Ask yourself, how is DeMarcus Cousins rated 2 overalls higher than Green despite his horrid performance with the Warriors a year ago? Not to mention, putting the second year Paschall on the same level as Green is absurd in its own right.

The most recent edition of 2K is already shaping up to be a shameless cash grab. With the new gaming consoles on the horizon, its clear they have dumped all of their assets into whatever version of the game releases on next-gen.
