The Golden State Warriors will more than likely be involved in at least one trade this offseason. If they do, here are a few players that should be on the hot seat.

The 2019-2020 season did not go as planned for the Golden State Warriors. The original idea was for Stephen Curry to lead the franchise while Klay Thompson rehabbed his torn ACL. Entering the season, the Warriors had been to five straight NBA Finals.

With Thompson possibly returning in the spring along with the season being suspended for over four months, it would’ve been perfect. Unfortunately, Curry fractured his hand in the fourth game, and the Warriors were left auctioning off their pieces to the highest at the trade deadline.

They did manage to bring in four second-round draft picks in two trades, and they also brought in Andrew Wiggins and a highly-coveted 2021 first-round pick for Russell.

The season resulted in a mere 15 wins, placing the Warriors, who have a championship-caliber roster, in the lottery. They have the No. 2 overall pick, a $17.2 million trade exception, and a mid-level exception to work this.

With no free agents, the Warriors roster is loaded, and it’s not just a few max-value players on the hot seat. That said, let’s dive into which lesser-known Warriors could be headed out this offseason.
