Who to take at No. 2

With three picks in the 2020 draft, the Warriors will likely have an opportunity to find a difference-maker and some who could play a key role in the playoffs. Nevertheless, the options are limitless.

The Dubs could opt to take James Wiseman and give themselves arguably the best starting lineup in the NBA.

However, the Dubs could add in a ready-made rookie in the form of Obi Toppin, who could feature as a small-ball center, in a small forward role or in his college power forward position. Toppin’s three-level scoring ability should intrigue the Warriors.

Alternatively, they could attempt to replicate what they did in 2012 and target a wing with considerable upside like Harrison Barnes once was.

Deni Avdija and Isaac Okoro are the top wings in the draft (aside from Anthony Edwards), and like Barnes both take pride in their defense and would bring toughness in abundance to the Warriors team.

Both would complement the Splash Bros very nicely should either be selected with the Dubs first-rounder.

Should the Warriors add either Toppin, Avidja, Okoro, or Wiseman, both could make a Barnes style impact in a complementary role to the Splash Bros on the offensive end and a leading role on defense alongside Draymond Green and Andrew Wiggins.
