This is the last deal, and it makes the most sense if the Bucks believe that Khris Middleton can take that next step. Bringing in Draymond Green to play alongside Brook Lopez in the frontcourt would give them a solid defensive backline.

Green’s rebounding would also help limit Lopez’s weakness in the area. Add in a player like Poole that proved he was capable of scoring efficiently, and you have a good start.

Again, the real icing on the cake comes when the two picks are added in. They’re what will attract the Bucks and really make the interest level high. The Bucks could bring in multiple stars and rebuild fairly quickly.

It’s a risk but so is losing out on Giannis for nothing.

All these deals may still be under what another team could toss at them, but it’s a good starting ground and would take a haul from any other team to force Golden State to dig deep for more picks or assets.
